Scientix: The new web-based community for Science EducationThe European Commission has launched a new database for all those interested in science can share news and experiences. The Portal Scientix is available in six languages and available documents and teaching materials from projects science education for teachers, parents, students or just curious about the science.
From the platform Scientix are also organized workshops and conferences over the next three years. The main event will be 6 to 8 May 2011, and will serve to promote the teaching of science online, among Europeans.

New EC website on medical research in the U.S.
The EC has launched a new website on medical research in the U.S.. The website contains sections on brain research, human development and aging, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and obesity, rare diseases, severe chronic disease and clinical trials. Within each section there is information on Calls for Proposals and funded projects in the particular research field, as well as an e-library. Site.
