Travel by plane
The Jacksonville International Airport (in English) is located approximately 48 kilometers (30 miles) from Mayo Clinic, which means an overland journey of 45-60 minutes. Most major airlines offer service to this airport. In addition, transportation is available from the airport to the hotels in the area and vice versa.
Accommodation
We recommend making a reservation before coming to Jacksonville. Mayo Clinic can not arrange accommodation for patients.
Many establishments offer discounts to Jacksonville Mayo Clinic patients and their families. Be sure to mention coming to Mayo Clinic when making a reservation.
The Mayo Clinic site has two hotels:
- The Inn at Mayo Clinic (in English) has 78 suites with one and two bedrooms, plus catering studios, and connects to the clinic via an enclosed walkway.
- The Courtyard by Marriott (in English) is located next to the clinic, and the restaurant serves breakfast daily, lunch Monday through Thursday, and dinner from Sunday to Friday.
